This landscape looks beautiful but slightly artificial. On my way to chimney mountain trail head my stop at this place turned out very fruitful. Actually I spent nearly an hour taking pictures here, a place barred for trespassers.....

This picture is taken from the top of Blue Mountain which is also the end of Blue mountain trail. There was plenty of mist and lot more exposed mountains, landscape was very ambiguous. I could have taken several pictures here, but the wind was severe and rain was racing, consequently I was barely able to shoot.....

I was lucky you catch this fleeting moon. I think the silhouette of trees creates a contrast. I saw this on my second evening in Bluemountain. Actually, I was searching for a place to catch the sunset which was not a good idea because the cloud was too thick and it was raining.....
